CEO & Founder
Jesus Cortazar Sierra
Founder and CEO of Lum Desarrollos since 2017. Before Lum Desarrollos, he was de Director
of Expansion at AMResorts, the leading Latin America All Inclusive Resort Company, he
achieved 30% growth by securing new third party contracts in Mexico, Central America and the
Caribbean. Prior to this he founded Inveland Development, which he established in 2007 to add
value to the real estate market, serving as General Director ever since. He also served as
Development Director at Grupo Plan, overseeing notable projects like Hotel Careyes, El
Tamarindo, and the W Hotel in Mexico City. Prior to this, he founded Invemax, leading the
development of over 2,000 homes in various Mexican states between 2001-2005. Currently, he
is very active in looking for sound opportunities on the Active Senior Living market in Mexico.
He has a degree in Architecture from Universidad Anahuac, a Master's in Science in Real
Estate Development from Columbia University and additional studies from Universidad
Iberoamericana and Harvard Business School. He is a registered member of the Mexican
Bar of Architects.
